2010 Duluth, Ga - Summer Hockey Camp

Session #1 Travel & In-House:  Ages 7 - 10 (Mite - Squirt)
Session #2 A/Travel & House:   Ages 11 - 15 (PeeWee - Midget)

Players to be separated on the ice into groups of similar skill level and or age

HI-PERFORMANCE TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT FROM PRO TECH HOCKEY ACADEMY

Total cost for the full day / full week camp is $480.00 per player. **Goalies welcome, for a special rate of $175.00**

Early Bird Discount of 5% for those registered and paid in full by April 15, 2010
Family Discount of 10% for families with 2 or more players registered

• Maximum: 28 players per session, plus goalies (quality, not quantity)
• Ratio: Players to Instructor 5:1 for maximum personal attention
• Each player will receive 15 hours of hi-performance on-ice sessions, and 10 hours of Dryland Training for the week
• 3 Hours on-ice daily, includes
1.5 hours of Elite Power Skating in the mornings, Forwards & Backwards, Posture, Balance, Weight Transfer, Isolation, Power Edges (inside/outside), Push Off, Stride, Crossovers (power-accelerating-quick feet), Undercut, Loading & Exploding, Quick Starts, 3 Gears, Acceleration, Overspeed, Transitions, Pivots, Agility, Lateral & Resistance. Pucks are incorporated into some of our power skating
1.5 hours of Skills Development, all variations of Stick handling, Passing, Shooting, Checking, Competitive Drills and Game Situations in the afternoons.
• We teach and develop the proper fundamentals & technique for all hockey skills continually throughout our program
• Separation of forwards and defencemen at times, for specific skill development relevant to game situations
• 1 on 1 Correction & Reinforcement
• 2 Hours daily of Dryland Training and Conditioning (hockey specific), 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour in the afternoon, which includes, off-ice stride training, Core Stabilization (Medicine Balls), Agility, Quick Feet (Ladders), Plyometrics (3 tier boxes-resistance belts & parachutes), Sprints, Explosive/Resistance, and also sport activities.
• Classroom Chalk Talk daily, Group Discussions on Mental Toughness, Visualization, Discipline, Attitude, Coachability, and other intangibles, Practice/Game Preparation, Nutrition and reinforce good values
• Skills Competition and Scrimmage (Friday)
• Fun Time – Sport Activities
• Evaluations
• Pro Tech Hockey Jersey, T-Shirt and Powerade Water Bottle included
• Nutritious snack & Powerade daily
• Proper footwear and shorts required for dryland training (no heely’s or skateboard shoes)
• Full hockey gear is mandatory
• Must provide your own nutritional lunch daily or lunch can be purchased through "Breakaway Grill"

***This is not a beginner program, players must be able to skate and play organized hockey. At Pro Tech Hockey Academy our programs are for players who are seriously committed to developing and improving their skating and hockey skills to become better players and get to the next level
